I have a 2001 Honda Civic and I'm having trouble with it starting. I have to push the gear shift all the way forward and press the button on the gear shift before it will start. Do you have any idea what it might be?

I think your best bet would be taking it to your local dealership or maintenance shop. that is certainly something i have never heard of before. :\
