Question about what kind of oil to use

2 Answers

I have a 1986 Monte Carlo with a 350 engine and want to know what kind of oil should I use ? And I know the question is how much would a primer job cost .... Removing all the paint on the car ?

To remove all the paint, you'd have to apply stripper or take it somewhere and media blast it, that's a big time-consuming job. Then you'd have to apply body filler and sand, sand, sand. Paint jobs cost depend on the level of finish you want. You can spend $20,000 on a paint job or 500. There's too much plastic on a mid-80's car to make paint removal practical. Most shops would just sand and primer a car.
