driver front door outside handle will not open door. connector rod wont stay connected. What kind of retainer should be on it?

connector rod from actuator to latch wont stay connected. What kind of retaining part should be there?

A small plastic clip. Your local auto parts store will have it. HTH. -Jim

Will this fix the door to open from the outside. It dose it and all sudden it will start to open again
