Trying to find out if all these problems are related to a rely, or come from same issue

Asked by Oct 01, 2014 at 11:20 AM about the 2002 Honda Civic LX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

No power to A/C compressor, and Fans.
Brake lite lit on dash with no brake issues. No code on scan.
Door Locks do not work manually, or with remote.
All these issues happened at the same time, and I cannot figure out how to fix.

Have you tested all of the mains in the power distribution box? For that many systems to go down all at once it has to be a main power feed, either a main fuse or a broken main feed wire, might be more than the amateur can handle.

Yea all that has been tried by my mechanic who has been working on my cars for 35 + years. I said I would check on line to see if anyone has ran in to this.

You didn't mention that you had a tech working on it, if he has his own shop then he will have access to data through his online services so he already knows where he is going to find your problem.

I am old school too, but you need the online services to stay in the loop or your just wasting your customers time. The best way to find this problem is to get a wiring schematic for the affected systems and trace them down to a common source and them checking circuits from there.
