Diesel Exhaust fluid low

2016 GMC Sierra 3500. Diesel exhaust fluid levels
got too low and a speed limitation turned on. The
maximum speed of the truck was 55 MPH but now
is only 4 MPH. I put DEF in it but the speed
limitation is still there and I have no idea how to
remove it.

How to reset. To reset the system, press and hold the thumbwheel for two seconds while Fuel Filter Life Remaining is displayed on the DIC.
