I just got a rebuilt transmission for my 2002 Honda accord and now when I park on an incline such as my driveway It takes me 3 to 4 times to pump my brakes before I am able to move car into reverse..please help
You have to pump your brakes to shift your car? So does your brake pedal go to the floor and you pump them to get pressure in them? 1.) Air in the line. 2) Leakage somewhere in the system. This is the case if, after you pump, the pedal loses pressure and sinks toward the floor. 3) Internal leak in the master cylinder. It's not pushing all the fluid it should be pushing. (see no. 2). Get them looked at ASAP.
