Daytime running lights

Asked by Apr 17, 2017 at 12:45 PM about the 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTZ Crew Cab Z71

Question type: General

When I bought my 2016 Chevrolet silverado my
daytime running lights would always come on
when I'd unlock my doors , start the truck using the
remote start or start it using the key. But lately they
haven't been coming on unless I manually turn on
the headlights than turning them back off. I trying
to figure out why this is happening? Also when I
lock the truck sometimes my headlights will be on
and this happens in the daytime. Can someone
please tell me what might be the problem and how
I can fix it?

You're most likely covered by the 3 year/36,000 bumper to bumper warranty. Visit your local Chevrolet Dealer and let them fix it for free! HTH. -Jim
