Where is the solenoid located on the 2007 Ford E-350 van

What one? there are quite a few.

Starter solenoid sorry , most say it's on the firewall but I can't find it on the big old van

That one is likely part of the starter. Look on the starter to see if there is a small round thing bolted to the big round thing, if so you have found the solenoid. By the way, which engine do you have?

Passenger fender in the engine compartment, will be a round style, if still factory, someone could have changes it to the older type if the round was not available.

Ok thanks both of you I will look again but there does look to be a solenoid on the starter just didn't know if these newer ones still had a solenoid on the firewall as well

If the starter has more than 1 wire on it the solenoid is integrated into the starter. It will have only one.

Yes you were right , my starter was totally shot but I only have 75,000 miles so I found it crazy and was trying to see what it could be . Thanks for you guys help
