how much should it cost to change a radiator on a 2003 honda ?
It a civic with a 4 banger ! It looks like the bumper has to come off . Just looking for an idea of what to expect from a shop or is this something i can do myself ? thanks !
You can check out this video to get an idea of what's involved (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=173KRW75rOQ). One of the people suggested removing the bumper cover in the comments.
do it your self. get two locking pliers (make sure the car is cooled down) and put one on the top hose to the rad and one on the bottom. put a drip tray under neathe the rad pull off the rad cap and there is a little drain plug on your rad that you can drain the coolant from. once drained the excess coolant remove rad and put in the new one attach the hoses and fill the radcd before taking off the locking pliers.. bamn its that easy the bumper stays on and everything
price wise 100 bucks or so i think
the entire bumper has to come off to get to the radiator . i guess you've never did one before .
