  • 1990 E250 van, 351ci. motor. Won't start without starting fluid. When it starts, it runs rough for awhile until warm, the all of a sudden it runs great! 1 Answer

    It won't start without ether. It will then start , but run rough, stumble on acceleration, back fire . Then it reaches operating temp. and like a switch was flipped, it runs fine!
