2004 honda Pilot doors autolocking with car started and keys in ignition

Asked by Jan 13, 2017 at 11:58 PM about the 2004 Honda Pilot EX AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2004 Honda Pilot has suddenly developed the issue that if the key is in the ignition and the engine is running, if the driver's door is opened and closed all of the doors will automatically lock. What would be causing this malfunction? Thanks in advance

Pull up the main menu on the dash and check too see if the lock on start is checked on the menu, if so uncheck it. More on this can be found in the owners manual.
