2004 honda odyssey lx passenger side sliding door

Asked by May 15, 2014 at 01:31 AM about the 2004 Honda Odyssey LX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Sliding door automatically lock when you close it but it won't open. The lock seems like
loose because it goes back to locking position. Need help. Thanks.  Lito of Murrieta,ca.

Check all the other doors for locked position after side doors lock, if both doors are locking and or the other doors are locking then the body control module (BCM) is having trouble, then try a reboot of the whole system by pulling the negative battery, make sure you have the radio code first and any ECU codes you might want.
