can the storage compartment door be fixed to stay down or is the whole comparment need to be replaced

does it not shut? or do you not like the storage compartment ?

Does not stay closed. I did however use a strip of velcour on the bottom base and a strip of valcour on the top lid. This worked just great. Thank you for your reply. Hope this helps someone else.
