My 05 not always but sometimes get a vibration at 40-45 mph give it gas it goes away?
That just does not sound right. Sounds like a tire or alignment problem. Depending on what your miles are, it could be wheel bearings. I would have a mechanic look at it.
I have the same problem on my '05 Honda Element. It usually is under light exceleration and when I let off the gas (no pull) it stops and I go on my way. I have had it at the dealer and they siad I needed new tires. I purchased new tires and had them aligned and balanced. I still get the vibration around 40 to 45 mph.
I have an 04 Element and have the same problem. Dealer talked me in to new tires. Now I am out $750 and still have the same problem. Mine occurs at 44 mph and 48 mph . Has anyone found the actual issue? Thanks
I found a link for you to the Honda owners' site. Answers included transmission fluid needing to be changed, tire balancing and even a brake issue. Check them out, hope this helps. http://www.elementownersclub.com/forums/showthread.php?t=61161
Have 2011 Honda element, vibration at 45 mph. I drained the trans and filled with 3 qt. Honda trans fluid. Dove car for 30 minutes, vibration gone. I drained and filled again. Torge convertor cluch is the problem. Honda has a mechanic alert on this but no bullintine.
We had the same problem with our 06 element replaced tires and shocks struts didn't help. Took it to Lynch Works in Knoxville Tn and they replaced lower ball joints and lower control arm bushings and it's FIXED
