All interior power not working, minus the radio & nav system
Had to replace my key battery today, but when I went to
open the car, I had to use the key (manually). None of the
control buttons on the driver door work, no turn signals, no
hazards, no interior lights, power seat & windows not
working. Radio, nav system & controls on the steering
wheel work fine, but I can't open the trunk either (unless i
use the key). KeyLess entry will illuminate the turn signals
inside on dash, but not externally. Horn Will sound.
Curious if the dead battery on the key, when changed
didn't fully register with the system? All fuses I know
where to look, fine. Haven't tried the spare key yet, but
don't see how that would make a difference. Slight
corrosion on one of the battery terminals I need to clean,
but otherwise I'm not sure what to do besides take it to the
dealer (they repaired a similar issue with the passenger
door after a minor incident). I do have an Amp in the trunk
remote not connected slow drain on battery, but nothing
that could of or should short it the entire internal system
power. Perhaps the key battery change connecting to the
system didn't reset everything? Or powered up & shorted
the system? All fuses look fine though. It's keeping me
from working & as rather fix it asap than wait on the
dealership which is gonna be busy as heck tomorrow.
Please HELP! Am I overlooking something simple or
should I just take it in as it's dark, raining & I can't see
anything to check other wires, relays, etc in the dark & rain.
Cause, loose negative battery connection. Dealership disconnected the battery to do some repairs & never secured it properly when reconnecting.
