Doge neon 2001 the water pump was replaced and
the timing belt was also replace  then code 1390
show up it means that is skipping one r 2  teeth
something like that. But I just replace the timing
belt I disconnected the battery to see is the code
was gone but nope check engine comes out why

You have to be very careful when replacing the timing belt, after you allow the tensioner back on the belt you need to recheck the marks to make sure they are still lined up and correct it if it is off. That may have been what happened to yours, or the tensioner is not set right or going bad. Was the tensioner and idlers replaced at the same time as the belt and pump? That should have been also.
