how to make a hole in the floor of a 1990 Surbuban to change the Fuel Pump

need to put a new fuel pump in the tank , but I just filled the tank -34 gals  - need to know if anyone has done this and how to go thru the floor to the tank . any tips ?,

Don't do it, you will weaken the body structurally, there is a support member right where you need to be to cut a hole. Purchase a little hand pump from Harbor Freight and pump out the fuel, then drop the fuel tank and replace the pump assembly.
