Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I got a Equinox and looking to change the mileage that is
on the Equinox. Does the mileage come from the dash
cluster or the BCM. Please help trying to put 2 equinoxes
into one from a wreck

the bcm and other info you wouldn't believe in recent years implemented by insurance co,s although kept secret .closest you'll see is freeze frame on a scanner for engine management

One Equinox has 97k and the other wrecked on has 35k and was just putting the better of the two in. The dash cluster is what showing this. On is wrecked in the rear and the other is a roll over. So just putting the better parts in one is all. I'm not trying to b illegal about anything.
