fan for heat/AC not working

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My fan has stopped working all together. Before it would work intermittenly and if it did work, it would quit a few miles down the road. I haven't found any tricks to make it work. I have checked the fuse and it is fine. Is there a relay somewhere that could have gone bad? Is there a resistor that could be fried? Please help me, I would like to have my heat back in my truck

Your twenty+ year old fan is done. The brushes are short and the motor needs replacing.
