Just bought a 2016 escape. Does anyone know what this button is?

If looking at steering wheel , the button on bottom left says "CAN RES"

I am thinking cancel/resume cruise control.

Yes, it means cancel/resume for the cruise control. HTH. -Jim

It means don't touch it if you don't know what it is. Sounds like an ejector seat, or oil slick button
