What does this mean? "Fuel Accessory Not Available"
I have 2016 Ford Edge Titanium AWD with 3500 miles. I started the vehicle in
a parking lot, backed up, put it into "Drive", started driving forward and it
slowed down, had no power, and a message on the dash came up and said
"Fuel Accessory Not Available". While still in drive, I had my foot on the fuel
pedal, but it wouldn't go anywhere. Put the car in "Park", the message kept
coming up even after pushing the "OK" button on steering wheel. Turned car
off, turned car on, put into "Drive", it wouldn't go. Turned car off again, sat for
a minute, turned car on, put into "Drive" and took off like nothing had ever
happened. What in the world does this message mean?
Sounds like something with the computer system. Since it's a new car, have the dealer service department scan the car for you, might be a simple fix or something major. Don't worry, your under warranty and repairs will be covered to get you back on the road.
