do i have to change the trany in my 94 yukon if i want to lower it?
i have seen what people have put and they all tell me that you need to change the trany
the drive shaft and the whole rear end. is that true? or is it if i want to make a 2wd car.
no, if you want to make it a 2wd you need a 2wd trans and the driveshaft needs to be longer. When you lower it you may need to check your driveshaft and make sure it wont need sortened
ok so if i lower it would the drive shaft show?and can i just put a longer drive shaft but still have the 4 wheel drive tranny.
if you lower it the driveshaft isnt gonna show or anything but it may have to be shortened due to the angles between the transfer case and the rear end it will have a shorter difference to cover. It all depends on how much you lower it. If its only 2 inchs then it wont matter. If you slam it then you may need to shorten it
