Running lights and dash lights

Asked by Jul 30, 2016 at 09:42 PM about the 1994 GMC Yukon 2dr 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The lights where the gauges are, tail lights,
and running lights (orange bulbed lights
below headlights) on my 1994 Yukon
suddenly stopped working and I found they
are blowing the fuse as soon as I cut on the
parking light switch. I disconnected taillight
assembly and it continued to blow a fuse. I
also replaced the headlight switch. I am not
sure what my next step in repair is. Educated
advice is appreciated.

P.S I have aftermarket headlights but they
are working fine, however doesn't mean they
aren't the culprit.
