Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2001 ford  focus that will not stay running, stalls and the brake light is on and I have no power brakes. Had the  same problem 6 months ago the shop I took it to said it was a vacuum leak. They never told me where, I don't know if the brake thing is related but it  started when this started

Find a place you trust and have them check your ignition switch also. I had a grand am that did that. Changed my ignition switch and it worked fine after.

I'm having a similar problem but only during the warmer months it seems. Sometimes my car won't stay running after I try to start it after driving it a while. Also happens if I leave my phone charger plugged up or accidentally left the lights on.The engine will turn and start but won't stay on. It's like it has to cool down for 20 minutes before it will stay running again. My dad thinks it might be the idle temperature control but not sure.
