I have a 2001 ford expedition XLT 4WD V8. I have to manually shift it even tho its an automatic. Its not throwing any codes and all fuses are fine. Does it have a vss? And need replaced?

Just had the same problem with my 2001 expedition,it ended up being a miss placed fuse..it was number 23 in the fuse box under the hood.In my case it was in wrong hole...Hope it helps..
