Honda CR-V 2015 start with remote starter
(installed by Honda dealer) but won’t start
with push button. All lights turned on after
pressing push button. Relay clicking noise is
there but car doesn’t start.
Remote starters are disabled if there is a check engine light being displayed, or if there is less than a 1/4 tank of fuel. Also make sure the hood is fully closed/latched and the safety switch for the hood latch is working.
when I push the start button, the accessory mode turns on and all the signs show up on the dashboard but when I try to start the car, the engine does not turn on. If I step out and try to turn it on with the remote starter then it starts but it turns off again when I open the door. As remote starter is off market.
Have brand new Battery. Just 2month old battery.
