What's wrong with my car?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Had windshield replaced 1st time trying to drive
since replaced yesterday. Had no power finally got
started now will not change gears never had any
issues before now with transmission.. Could it bw
security feature?? Please help!!

Check the battery negative terminal for corrosion. I had similar symptoms to include windshield wipers turning on without the key being turned on. The battery current sensor pigtail had to be replaced due to corrosion in the connector. It was an easy DIY repair and was $65 part from the dealership. Hope this helps.

This is the pigtail. The black connector on the far left at the bottom is where the corrosion failure occurred.
