Does anyone have a rough percentage of 1957 chevy's still have the original engine.

Asked by Jan 27, 2016 at 11:10 PM about the 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Base

Question type: General

1 Answer

58,775

Statically speaking 10% of a vehicle's original production survive past the ten year mark. On a '57 Chevy the percentage of ones having the original engine still in there 59 years later are probably much lower. Many, many people souped them up years later with more modern, more powerful engines than they originally had. HTH. -Jim
