Just purchased new Dodge Durango AWD with 20" wheels. Vehicle came with Good Year Fortera HL tires. Disappointed in performance in first snow storm. Are there better tire options?
Yes there are a multitude for different tire types out there, just as long as you stay with the exact same size nothing will happen to speedo/odometer calibration. The Fortera HL is a good all season tire but it won't do very well in very much snow as it is not rated for it, if you are going to do a lot of driving in snow you may want to go a deeper tread tire something with a mud and snow rating or do what a lot of people do out my way is buy another set of rims and put studded mud and snows on those rims and when the weather changes put those rims on when studs become legal to run.
