I have a 95 GMC Jimmy it starts fine and idles fine but when you give it gas it acts like it starved for gas and cuts out and loses power. What would make it do this?
I have replaced the fuel filter, fuel pump ,spider injectors ,fuel pressure regulator ,MAP sensor,
throttle body position sensor, rotor, distributor cap ,spark plugs wires, and spark plugs please
Check the egr and clean the carbon out from it under neath, check and make sure the diaphragm does not leak. Another thing take carburetor cleaner and spray along the intake & head, the TBI base gasket, and anywhere there is vacuum. If there is a leak, the rpms will pick up. Snug up the intake, replace TBI gasket, replace EGR valve, ALL IF necessary.
