I looked at a new Ford Truck It had a few price changes, Then when I inquired about the truck it went up a $1,000.00 and said no price changes. Is this service some sort of a scam. Are the dealers controlling this site

The internet is a form of advertising. If the truck is advertised at a certain price, in your case $47,988, that's what they have to sell it to you for. My advice is print out 2 copies of the ad. Keep one and take the other with you to the dealer. If they give you any trouble, threaten to call your local Office of Consumer Affairs. It's illegal to try to sell something for more than the advertised price. HTH. -Jim

Go to Car Intelligent , they are a car buying service and if they can't find you a better deal money is refunded. I looked at a Mercedes C63 , no dealer in Northern Cali. would give a good discount. Car Intelligent found a dealer in L.A. that offered me a $10,000.00 discount. I am not affiliated nor do I own for Car Intelligent.. Or do your home work and shop around. I suggest never buy from a Putnam Dealer . I just won a small claims case against them.
