Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have an F-150 it is a 2015 model, Lariat
Supercrew 4x4. My truck froze and i brought it into
the shop to thaw, truck sat overnight in shop to
thaw out and dry. I try to start but no go. What can
be the issue? If its air lock in fuel or fuel pump
issues, how can i bleed it out or reset pump if
needed? Or what can be the issue with starting the
truck?

3.5, tank was 1/4, live in northern Alaska. temps dropped to -35 degrees, I kept my truck plugged in and tried to start it at -25 but crank time exceeded (starter locked out). pulled truck into shop overnight to thaw and dry but still won't start. I powered up and down several times hoping it would send fuel to motor, no luck. I tried holding gas pedal during one crank cycle but no start. I pulled plugs, cleaned them up a little but still no start (might be a good idea to change asap).

thanks for the check up and I don't have a dealership to bring the truck into to have it checked out, I'm not exactly a grease monkey and I don't want to go as far as void warranty. just looking out for advice, thanks again

I've checked the fuse for the fuel pump and it seems fine, pulled the relay out but of course it's solid black and can't see inside of it but the terminals on the relay don't seem discolored. I did disconnect the battery for a minute and that reset the starter, but I'll look into a longer disconnect time and see if that helps. Thanks again.

Thanks for the input on this issue guys, I'm not sure what type of heater is installed on the truck (was already installed when I bought the it, but will be good to find out which it is now that I have the TSB). I believe I figured out the problem. When it was too cold to start, the truck had flooded out and the more I cranked to try and start, the more fuel was being pushed into the motor and was too rich to fire. When the truck thawed and I tried starting, I got a strong odor of fuel from the exhaust. Pulled the plugs and cleaned them out, they were wet and color was going black, so I let the truck sit and air out (didn't want to crank without plugs because it is a push button ignition and wasn't sure if fuel would just keep flowing out as truck continually cranked due to no start), then truck fires up like a summers day. Of course I'm no mechanic, but that's what I put together after a couple tries and thinking over symptoms

second time I pulled the plugs, I had left them off to air out the motor a lot more longer than the first time I pulled them

To clear fuel from the cylinders you push the gas peddle all the way down and crank the engine. This will stop spark and fuel. Engine will jus crank and pump air

I've got a 2015 F150 same issue got cold and wouldn't start. Flooded to the point flames would bun from the cylinder holes for 2 to 3 minutes at a time. Had to dry it out for a couple of days before it would start again.
