Charged the battery up put back on no power at all

We just buy gmc vandura 1990  we charged battery and put
back on and got no power any were could anyone help

What is the voltage of the battery, maybe it didn't take a charge? Is is 12.4V? Check the battery cables too for cracks and corrosion.

also wouldn't hurt to have the battery load tested, and check your ground connections/cable
