I need to know where the "Sub-woofer" is located on my 2015 Silverado.
I just bought a 2015 Silverado LTZ 1500 double-cab with bucket seats. I was told by the salesman the sub-woofer was under the center console. This doesn't seem like a place to put one, so I am just wanting to make sure I wasn't fed "sales talk".
Yep that's where they are. You can feel them work on some of the heavier base music.
Thank you very much, I'll turn up the bass, and feel the vibes. Sure hope it never goes out, seems like it would be a pain to get to. Thanks again, I feel I got a great deal, and now that I know it has what they said, I feel even better.
Yes they are a pain to get too, so far the only problem I've seen is the grounds for the amp tend to work loose if you are off road a lot. Located behind the glove box, easy fix once you find it.
Hello again tennis, I tried the radio today, put my head in the console and am still not sure there is a sub in my truck. Is there any way to check without actually pulling the console?
Do you have satellite radio in the truck? If so tune to The Bridge and wait for an Eagles or Alabama to start playing then use the audio setting and set the bass to full and the speaker settings to equal front and rear and right and left, turn it up then you will hear it and feel it right through the console. It should also have a listing on the equipment list when you purchased the rig.
