Why won't my escape move

My 2001 escape threw a plug ...i replaced plug....it
threw it again and now the car wont move starts
up misses because its missing a pkug but wont
move when shifted into hear

Threw a plug?

Spark plug blew out of the head

Wich shouldn't have anything to do with the movement of the vehicle I would think
