Brake line

Asked by Apr 01, 2015 at 09:38 PM about the 2001 Ford Escape XLT 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I had to cut the hard brake line from the ABS unit to the right front brake hose connection.
Is this a part I can purchase already bent in the correct shape?

You might get lucky at a dealer, but otherwise you will have to cut, bend and double flare it yourself. Or you could try an auto wrecker.

A Ford dealer did a nationwide search, and it is not available. I might try a junk yard. Thanks!
