97 yukon wont start.

Asked by Jan 24, 2016 at 12:16 PM about the 1997 GMC Yukon SLE 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

As i got home. I parked the yukon in the middle of my block
infront of house.. as i exit out the truck to shove snow to
park the truck at. I heard my truck shut off. Lights were on
and everything. Try to start it again and it wont turn on. So i
thought it might be the battery. Went to buy a new one.
Installed it but still the truck wont turn on. What may  seem
to be the problem

So everything went dead, no lights, horn anything like that? If that is the case then you should check all of your cables and auxiliary wiring, especially that big red one from the battery to the power distribution box.
