how to tune up
No such thing as tuneups these days. How many miles on your Windstar? If you haven't already, I'd replace the Spark plugs, air filter, PCV, oil change, transmission fluid change, and coolant. Check the brakes and fluid. Clean the throttle body and IAC, change the fuel filter. Rotate and balance the tires, get an alignment. check the suspension and replace worn out parts. Might be something I missed.
With the engines of today all you really need to do is replace the spark plugs unless the engine is missing or running bad. There is a few general maintenance things you can do also check air filter and clean throttle body replace fuel filter if have not done so in a while add Lucas Fuel Injector Cleaner to gas tank.
Sorry Tom your post was not up when I posted.
