1997 gmc sonoma just changed fuel pump and fuel pump relay, getting gas but still will not start

I have changed the fuel pump and the fuel pump relay, getting plenty  of fuel, but still will
not start

Have you check for spark ?

Once you know that you have fuel and spark, if it still won't run, do a compression test. If all cylinders test low or zero it's jumped timing. HTH. -Jim
