1986 bmw e30 323i,cranks bt wont start,pls help

i have a 323i which simply wont start ive had 3 dif mechanics over and all have dif answers.....i have replaced fuel pump,fuel filter,plugs,leads,distributor cap and battery....they are alll brand new,bt still she jus swings and swings and refuses to take and start,getting new computer box today,,,,,i had spark,fuel and injectors were working bt now non of the three are working plz assist as i am moving and dnt wana have to selll cause this is my dream car and neva thought i wud ever gt to own my own one and mechanics have cme out bt they stil have not found the cause to my problem they jus tell me wat it might be bt nt certain..and dnt have that kinda money to buy a part and then still be left wit the same thing.....

You need 3 things for it to run. Fuel, spark, and compression. Try spraying some starting fluid down the throttle body. It should run a few seconds on the starting fluid. If so, you have spark and compression so it's a fuel problem. If it won't run on the starting fluid, check for spark. You should have good strong spark at the spark plugs that you can see and hear. Pull one of the spark plug wires and put a large wooden or plastic handle screwdriver in the end of the spark plug wire. Hold the metal part of the screwdriver close to something metal on the engine that's not painted. Have a helper crank the engine. You should see a strong spark and hear a SNAP-SNAP-SNAP type of sound. If you have that then it's time to run a compression test. If all cylinders test low or zero it's jumped timing. HTH. -Jim

Need help

1986 325e not starting...I hear fuel pump when turn key on - just cranks ....but before I found bad fuel pump rely it would start up for a second then die....wait a little bit and it'll do the same thing...now hearing fuel pump it just cranks and won't fire up for a second then die ??????? Wth..bad fuel pump inside tank ???? Check for spark ?
