Clicking noise coming from my 1997 jimmy
When I take off there a loud clicking sound coming from under my car and also when i turn, could it be my transmission mount or front in?
C/V joints in the front, u-joints in the drivelines, chain problem in the transfer case. Just a few things to check.
Yep sounds like cv joints or I've had hub bearings do that
the front cv axels soud like there bad take the frontn drive line out ifn it still feals good then drive it no power to the axels means no stress on them check the boots if torn replace this is for full time 4wd if not ftime the rear drive shaft probly neede ujoints put truck in neutral make sure the wheels are chalked no ebrake so driveline is free wiggl up down side to side andn twist do for each ujoint this goes for front dl hubs locked
