You should buy a trickle charger, I was informed there is so much electrical going on all of the time that the car sitting for an extended time will drain the battery. You can buy the charger at Porsche or an auto supply for less $$. I used the charger while I was out of town for 5 weeks and the car was running like a charm when I returned.

I have a 2012+ 991 Carrera S that I bought new and never need a charge. I have not driven the car for a month many times and it starts with no problem. The car is in my garage unlocked so the alarm doesn't cause added drain. So YMMV, still I think the trickle charger is an unneeded hassle.

Could be a bad battery. Don't leave key in ignition. Make sure interior lights turn off. My 02 Turbo sits for about 6 weeks. The battery use to drain. I did a charge on the battery with a good battery charger. Does not drain sitting for 4 to 6 weeks. Retrace your steps. See what you are leaving on. Ask the dealer their opinion.
