I have a 2015 Grand Cherokee Hemi. I plan on leaving it parked for 2 months and I wonder if I need to worry about the battery going dead? If so what can I do? I left my 2008 for one and it went dead.
I am worried about returning from a trip after two months and finding my 2015
Grand Cherokee Hemi battery dead. It happened to me on my 2008 after 1
month. If it may be a problem, can I hook up a charger that goes into a resting
stage when the battery is fully charged.
OK, you could do that or just disconnect the battery? How about a friend starting your car once a week ? Lots of options.
Honestly, I've left my cars for a month and never had a problem.
Mark is right, 2 months will be fine, but you can put a battery tender on it if you'd like. When it happened on your 2008, the battery was probably already weak and needed replacement.
