End of the beetle convertible

Asked by Sep 07, 2014 at 08:40 PM about the 2015 Volkswagen Beetle Turbo R-Line Convertible

Question type: General

Was at a VW dealer last week and was told that if I wanted a convertible I had better buy
a 2014 as they would not be making any in 2015.  Is this true or was he trying to get me to
buy one off his lot?

Thanks a bunch.......They are going to hear from me tomorrow for sure!!!!!! I also asked them to find me a 2014 R-line in Reef Metallic Blue/Beige Top/Loaded. They said there were none to be found anywhere.....hmmmmmmmm

Well, they might be right about finding a 2014 in a specific color. The might be already sold or not available in your area, plus some dealers don't like to swap/trade cars. VW stopped making the 2014's and just started making 2015's. So you might have to wait a few months till they start showing up on the lot or you will need to order one.
