Anti lock brakes locking up

Asked by May 30, 2016 at 10:40 AM about the 2015 Chevrolet Camaro LS

Question type: General

Had a 2015 chevy camaro. While driving down the
road at 60 mph a dear ran out 100 yards ahead.
Natural instinct I hit the brakes. This put me in a
straight skid with rear wheels locking up. After a
40' skid we had impact. All 6 air bags deployed.
After impact the doors on the car would not open.
No damage to side of car but yet they still would
open. Passers-by had to open the doors from
outside and rescue us from the smoke inside. Ince
we got out I surveyed damage and front frame was
hit from impact but the skid and brakes locking up
on this new car had me question why did this
happen the car should had stopped.  So my
question is should the brakes lock up? Are they
faulty? And why would the doors not open after
impact
