Hi. I own a 1999 gmc yukon 4wd. Use to hear grinding noises. Now im seeing fluids leak out back of truck.do I need the entire rear end repaired?
If you hear grinding, that,s not good,it can be rebuilt, but you are better off finding a used one to replace, may be cheaper.
R u talking abt replacement of the differential or the entire rear
Easy or and cheaper to change out the whole thing, rather than rebiuild.
Can I just but that differential part instead of the entire rear end
Just buy the differential
Can I just buy that differential part instead of the entire rear end
Yes you can,but running it low of oil,i don,t think it would work to your advantage, shaft,s may be warped, more than likely ,and would wear out bearing,s sooner than later,
