How do I contact C G to report a "For Sale" Scam?
In the current and last 2 weeks, I have found 4 2015 Corvette Z06s being offered at several thousand dollars below market price. These cars generally show up on Thur, Fri, or Saturday and are "no longer available" the next day.
This is one of the advertisements from 3/21/16:
2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 2LZ
(pricing) Uncertain Price $55,900
$27,238 BELOW Nationwide avg of $83,138
Mileage 1,600 mi.
Location Corona, CA
I inquired and opened dialog with the seller who verified price, told me the car was located in Houston, and that he was selling it because he had relocated to UK to be with his family. I sent questions asking to see the car, etc., that afternoon, the listing was removed from your site and the seller stopped responding.
On 3/25/16 the same car reappeared ~ this time listed with a dealer in Smyrna GA. I inquired again, using a different email address and name. This morning I received the identical response regarding the car's location, the seller's, and the reason for selling.
Also through the course of the Easter weekend, there were 3 or 4 other 2015 Z06s listed that were similarly under market price. All of these were listed through a dealer in Chicago; however by Sunday evening, all listings had been removed.
