I have a 2015 Ford F250 Super Duty. When I put on my 4x4 lock, my tires are just spinning in place. I recently had my tires changed and am wondering if anyone knows any possible solutions.
What do you mean just spinning in place? Like your stuck on a slick surface. If so chain up and drive off.
Only the back wheels are spinning in place, the front tires are remaining stationary. Is it possible the surface is too slick even though the 4x4 is engaged. I've locked the front tires manually and the display is showing that the Electronic Locking Differential is enabled?
It sounds like it is not locked in even though it says it is, you are for sure stuck, chain up the rear wheels or call a tow truck.
Then take it to the dealer to find out why the system failed, in 4X4 lock you should have at least one front tire pulling unless you opted for a limited slip front end then both wheels will start pulling after one of them slips a little. HTH
