why my 02 gmc yukon suddenly started honking & won't stop. please advise

Some how the security system is tripped, try running the shut down procedure listed in the owners manual.

its not the security honking, but all of a sudden horn was on while i was driving and the surrounding drivers was looking at me.please advise what to do sir. thanks

Ok, the most common is a short in the clockwork unit that sits between the steering wheel and the steering column, it also provides the connection for the air bag, you can either disconnect the horns or pull the horn relay until you can get it in to have the system repaired.
