RIM Size question

I have 16" tires on my gmc sonoma but trying to find new tires for this truck at a decent
price has been a nightmare. I was wondering if I find 15" rims for the truck and decent
tires does the truck need to be balanced again? Thanks a lot.

Yes, anytime you replace tires or a tire, the wheel(s) need to be balanced for a smooth ride. HTH. -Jim
